Toowong QLD Neighbourhood Honey

Regular price $15.00 AUD

From the southern base of Mount Coot-tha, our Toowong QLD Neighbourhood Honey is a seasonal expression of Brisbane’s inner-west in bloom. This release comes from a network of 20+ managed beehives, producing a raw, small batch honey that reflects the rhythm of local flowering cycles and the character of the surrounding neighbourhoods.

Like all of our neighbourhood honeys, this harvest is shaped by place. Bee One Third’s existing Toowong release describes the honey as a reflection of the floral diversity found across nearby suburbs including Taringa, Auchenflower, Rosalie, Bardon and St Lucia, with bees foraging up to 5km from their hives. The result is a honey that feels distinctly local — layered, seasonal and true to landscape.

Set beside the wider Mt Coot-tha precinct, an area known for subtropical botanic diversity, varied plant species and wildlife, this release carries a strong sense of Brisbane provenance. Bee One Third’s brand story centres on raw neighbourhood honey from unique Australian locations, and this Toowong harvest is exactly that — local, expressive and grounded in pollinator-rich urban ecology.

This is a limited short release of just 504 jars, packed in 350g jars and harvested as a true small batch. Distinctive, place-led and highly local, it is a celebration of Toowong, Mount Coot-tha, and the remarkable pollination corridors of Brisbane’s inner west.
