Taigum QLD Neighbourhood Honey

Regular price $5.50 AUD

Our Taigum apiary site is a favourite for our bees over Winter and deep into Spring and Summer. Located on a beautiful 3-acre farm surrounded by natural waterways and native gum trees, our North Brisbane bees are blissed out with so many flowers to pollinate.

Our Taigum apiary is a short fly to the beautiful Tinchi Tamba Wetlands Reserve

Taigum is a diverse outer neighbourhood located here in Brisbane, Australia. It borders the coastline of North Brisbane, a stone's throw from the well known and isolated Sandgate region.

As the bees fly far and wide, visiting flowers within a 5km radius of their hives, they will be finding new sources of food in neighbouring areas of Nudgee, Aspley, Shorncliffe, Sandgate, Banyo, Virginia, Boondall, Geebung, Carseldine and Deagon. A broad representation of the flowering cycles of this prime pocket of pollination heaven.

Our seasonal honey is harvested at the end of each climatic season to ensure we capture the specific flavour and textural profile of the former season's flowerings. From batch to batch and location to location, our honey will change in flavour, texture, profile and natural sugar content.
